Prior to founding Fireside, Jonathan spent sixteen years at Goldman Sachs. While at Goldman Sachs, he was a Partner, Head of North American Investments and Global Head of Hospitality Investments. After leaving Goldman Sachs in 2010, he was an Operating Partner at Bain Capital and the Chief Executive Officer and President of NorthStar Realty Finance Corp (formerly NYSE: NRF).

Jonathan is currently a member of the board of directors of Andmore (fka International Market Centers), Collective Retreats, Dream Clean Car Wash, Port 32 Marinas and KKR Real Estate Finance Trust (NYSE: KREF). Prior board experience includes Concert Golf Partners, El Car Wash, Hilton Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: HLT), Icon Parking, Kerzner International, Morgans Hotel Group (formerly NASDAQ: MHGC), Ooedo Onsen Hotels & Resorts, Strategic Hotels & Resorts (formerly NYSE: BEE) and Westin Hotels & Resorts.

Jonathan graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Stephen is involved in all the firm’s investment, capital formation, and operating activities.  He is currently a member of the board of directors of Port 32 Marinas and has previously held board positions at Concert Golf Partners and El Car Wash.

Prior to Fireside, Stephen was a Vice President on the investments team at Colony NorthStar (and its predecessor business, NorthStar Realty Finance Corp, where he worked with Jonathan Langer). At NorthStar, he was involved in over $3 billion of investments, including the formation of NorthStar’s hospitality platform.

Stephen graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Boston University.

Prior to joining Fireside, Matthew served as Director of Operations at Garrison Investment Group, a leading middle market private equity fund. During his 10 years at Garrison, he supported the firm’s investments across their strategies in real corporate debt, financial assets, and real estate. He also managed the firm’s liquidity, compliance, FX risk mitigation and treasury functions.

Matthew graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA.

Brian has spent over 20 years as a senior executive at several leading alternative asset managers.  He joined many of these platforms during the infancy of private equity and hedge fund capital formation.  In addition to serving on the investment committees and running the daily operations of these businesses, Brian spent a lot of his time on strategy, business development and the execution of strategic transactions.

Brian was most recently Chief Operating Officer at Madison Realty Capital.  Prior to his stint at Madison, Brian spent 14 years at Garrison Investment Group where he was a Partner and Chief Operating Officer since the firm’s inception in 2007.  Prior to Garrison, he was the Chief Financial Officer of a newly formed distressed credit business at the Blackstone Group.  Prior to Blackstone, Brian was part of the initial team that established the special situations business at Fortress Investment Group.

Brian holds a B.S. in Accounting from Binghamton University.

Marc is a Fireside Operating Partner with a focus on investments in the gaming, hospitality and leisure sectors.

Marc worked at Red Rock Resorts, Inc. (NASDAQ: RRR, formerly known as Station Casinos) from 2009 to 2017, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Prior to joining Red Rock Resorts, he worked at Goldman Sachs with Jonathan Langer, where he was on the gaming and lodging investments team. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he was a Senior Analyst at Magnetar Capital, LLC and a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank.

Marc graduated with a B.S. in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.
